Even easier than the imperative command, example sentences are:
”Don’t come round a second time!”
”What, don’t look (at me).”

In addition to this rather simple prohibitive, we can also turn the
- imperative into a prohibitive, by using + +
. However, while grammatically sound, practically speaking this form
is very rarely used. This works for any verb, except for , which is
technically the same verb as but at a different formality/politeness
level. Rather than using + + , just + is used.
