should be used. The image of the bar phantom obtained is visually
inspected, and spatial resolution is estimated from the smallest strips or
spacings distinguishable on the image (Fig. 10.4). Obviously, this technique
is qualitative and does not give a quantitative measure of the spatial
resolution.
