Be CLOSE-GRAIN HARDWOOD lumber, veneer, or MDO over
backer of the manufacturer’s option.

Permit one FINGER JOINT at either veneer edge that is
tight, not raised, or not visible from a distance of 48”
(1219 mm).

4.3.9.6.2 For TRANSPARENT finished doors:
4.3.9.6.2.1 Permit one FINGER JOINT at either veneer edge that
is tight, not raised, uniform in color and grain, without
discoloration, or not visible from a distance of 72”
(1829 mm).

Be HARDWOOD lumber or veneer over backer, compatible
