My dear Neill:September 10, 1945Many thanks for your kind letter. I would like to have my
books published in England. But why reprint them if they are here in
English already? Would some publisher in England sell them on com
mission for our Press? They are selling my stuff quite strongly now
in the U.S.A.
We have finished the laboratorium building in Orgonon. It cost about
$3000 more than expected.
Send me your book as soon as it appears.
I had several enquiries regarding the relationship of Orgone to the
atomic bomb. Orgone is, as far as I can see, sub-atomic energy in its
natural form out of which chemical elements arise. The atomic bomb
energy is obtained by smashing matter. We are gathering the cosmic
energy naturally. I don't believe that the mechanists will ever succeed
in slowing up the process of smashing up matter to such a degree that
the energy could be used beneficially. Somebody said the other day that
the Orgone energy is the only real counteractor to the deathly atom
bomb energy.

I did not hear from you in a long time. I wish to present a
problem to you and I hope you will co-operate:
We are stopping the publication of the Journal in its present form,
but it will continue to exist as an archive under the title "Archives of
Orgone Biophysics," which will publish the "heavy" natural scientific
stuff. Now, I am pondering a plan of issuing a periodical of much
smaller size and much less pages, and on a much more popular basis,
under the possible title of "Living Matter, New Ways in Education."
If you have a better title, please let me know. This popular journal
would be edited by all educators who on principle agree with our view
point. It would be fine and very encouraging if you would agree to sign
as one of the editors, and second, to contribute regularly to this journal
out of the material of your school. I hold that this plan is of the greatest
