There is no physicist in this world who is trained or competent to judge
the Oranur Experiment. I cannot understand why you continuously try
to convince those brilliant people if they are thoroughly incompetent.
I am sure you would strongly object if I were to send your Problem
Family to the head of the Board of Education in New York for scrutiny
and approval. Is it not quite obvious that those whose total base of
operation and intellectual existence is being slowly overturned with each
single step we are making forward into the realm of the cosmic orgone
ocean, cannot but be inimical and full of hate toward us. Please, may I
ask you t9 avoid further embarrassing and humiliating situations of such
a kind.
There is very much in educational matters I would love to talk over
with you.

I gave up approaching orthodox scientists long ago. Then
Mickey S. sent me the Oranur pamphlet, asking me to try to contact
defence authorities on this side. Newspaper reports had given me the
impression that Prof. Powell was one of the big men in atom research. I
thought it would be Powell or a man of his position who would be
consulted by any defence group, and naturally, having known him, I
thought I'd get at him before officialdom got there. I was wrong, but still
I can't understand what was expected of me when Sharaf asked me to
distribute the pamphlets.
Rumours go around about Oranur ... that Eva nearly died. We long
to get the inside story, which we hope will come in the Bulletin. I fear
there is hardly a chance of a visa for me. If your Oranur trial were
known to the State Dept. I haven't a hope, for, to them, I might be
suspect as an enemy who will come to Maine to steal the results to
give to the U.S.S.R. or some nonsense of the sort.
I have moved the Accu into a room with a gas (that is a dry) fire,
and I am sure the reaction is much stronger. The small Accu has been
wonderful with scaldings on a boy's foot.
Just looked at [L. Ron Hubbard's] book on Dianetics which sounds
