Exercise 3 Think of an idea for a piece of writing intended for a specific audience.
Then, in a short paragraph, describe how you would present the piece.
Idea:nursery rhymes rewritten with new, humorous endings
Intended audience:students in grades 2– 6
Form of presentation:The rhymes will be presented as short plays. Then the narrator
will recite the poem while the actors mime their parts. The characters will carry a
simple prop or wear an article of clothing that identifies them. The plays would be
presented in individual classrooms at different grade levels.
