The Drive » Head back

into town, then west on

Chincoteague Rd til it hits State

Route 679/Fleming Rd, then

turn right. Rte 679 will cross into

Maryland and become MD-12.

Follow it north for 11 miles, then

turn onto US 113. Take 113 north

for 16 miles, then right (east)

onto MD-376. Drive 4 miles,

then turn right (south) onto

MD-611; follow it for 4 miles to

Assateague Island.
