Women Leaders in Village Panchayats

There are all kinds of people in the Panchayat, some support me, and some
do not. My emphasis has been to solve the Panchayat’s problems by holding
consultations within the village itself, and not to take the matter to the Court,
since that leads to wastage of both time and money. I try to prioritize the
problems faced by women from the Panchayat. Women are my most important
partners when it comes to taking decisions on the education and health needs
of the Panchayat.
