To be sure, some of these distinctions were, well, a bit less than he had hoped for.
The Class of 1942 was officially polled, to see who had the most status among the students
themselves.
For Best All-Around Fellow, '' Poppy Bush was third. Bush did not show up in the Most
Intelligent '' category.
Interestingly, Bush came in second on `` Most Faculty Drag ''--the teachers' pets--even though Bush
did not appear at all on the school's Scholastic Honors list. In fact, no member of the Rockefeller-Bush A.U.V. was on the Honors list--despite chanting incantations, being smeared with filth and
urinating on porches.
