What God Says
When He Talks
God has so much to tell you. He never intended for you to live
your life without communicating with Him.
He will move heaven and earth to talk to you, knowing that
what He says can change your life in an instant or heal your
soul over time. God talks to you in familiar ways with familiar
words so that you’ll recognize His voice.
Because God is a fiercely loyal and deeply caring Father, He
longs to tell you how much He loves you. And because He
loves you, He will talk to you throughout your entire life with
words that both convict and forgive, restoring you back to Him
if you’ve lost your way. And God is not elusive. He wants you
to know His will for your life, so He eagerly talks to you with
words of confirmation.
The following is certainly not an all-inclusive list of what
God says when He talks; it is simply a sample of the many
ways God talks to you. As you read through these
illustrations, keep in mind that in big or small decisions, God
will guide your steps and make clear His direction for your life
through words that align with biblical principles, circumstances
that confirm His voice, and a deep peace that is assuring.
