there is a creative streak waiting to burst out—give it some space
(Figure 8.6). Try different angles, lighting, and subjects. Try combining
two images in one. It might not work, but it is sure fun to try.


A word of warning. It is probably now impossible to do a concept
or other shot of a sunfl ower without sending the microstock reviewers
into a demented rejection frenzy. Just say “no” to sunfl owers.


Tip 16: Use sRGB Color Space for Submission


Color spaces are a little like bit depth. You will remember my earlier
advice to manipulate and make corrections to your images in 16 bits
instead of 8 bits. When you are done, you convert your 16-bit TIFF fi le
