June 14, 1985:`` Shiite Muslim terrorists '' hijacked an Athens-to-Rome airliner. One American was
killed, 39 Americans were held hostage and released June 30.
July 1985:Vice President George Bush was designated by President Reagan to lead the Task Force
on Combatting Terrorism (or Terrorism Task Force). Bush's task force was a means to
sharply concentrate the powers of government into the hands of the Bush clique, for such
policies as the Iran-Contra armaments schemes. The Terrorism Task Force had the
