to let me try to fix the cake.
Kind woman that she was,
she agreed. With two
spatulas in the kitchen, she
let me fix it as best I could,
and we put it in the freezer.
She even offered to give me
a tip, but I said, “No, you
have already given me the
biggest tip of my life.
Thank you so much.”
