b. Zayd b. Tha'laba, at Badr; Yazid b. Khadh%n b, Subayc; Jabbzr b. Sakhr
b. Umayya b. al-Khans%) b. Sin% b. Wbayd, at Badr; al-Tufayl b. Mzlik b.
al-Khans$), at Badr.
And Ka'b b. Malik; Sulaym b. 'Amir b. Hadida, at Badr; Qu&a b. 'Amir b.
Hadida, at Badr, and his brother Abii al-Mundbii Yazid, at Badr also; and Abii
al-Yusr Ka'b b. 'Amr, at Badr, and Sayfi b. Sawwnd b. 'Abbzd.
And Tha'laba b. Ghanama b. 'Adi b. Nnbi, at Badr and martyred at al-khandaq.
And his brother 'Am b. Ghanama b. 'Adi; 'Abs b. 'Amir b. 'Adi, at Badr;
Khdid b. 'Amr b. 'Adi b. Nsbi; and 'Abd All& b. Unays, an ally of theirs from
Qudacd.
And 'Abd AUHh b. 'Amr b. Harzm, one of the "leaders", at Badr, martyred at
Uhud, and his son Jnbir b. 'Abd Allah; Muadh b. 'Amr b. al-Jam, at Badr;
Thzbit b. al-Jadhc, at Badr and martyred at al-Tzlif; Wmayr b. al-H~ith b.
Thaclaba, at Badr; Khadij b. Salama, an ally of theirs from Baliy; Mu%dh b.Jabal
who witnessed Badr and thereafter; he died of the plague at 'Imwns in the
Caliphate of Wmar b. al-Khanzb.
And Wbada b. al-Samit, a "leader", at Badr and thereafter; al-'Abbzs b.
Wbzda b. Nadla, who stayed at Mecca until he emigrated from it. He also was
known as a muhajart aqari. He was martyred at Uhud. And Aba 'Abd al-Ralpnan
Yazid b. Tha'laba b. Khazma b. Asram, an ally of theirs from the Bana
Ghu~ayna from Baliy; 'Amr b. al-U&th b. Labda; Rifacd b. 'Am b. Zayd, at
Badr; Wqba b. Wahb b. Kalda, an ally of theirs, at Badr. He was one of those
who left for Mecca and remained until he emigrated from there. He was one
of those also called a muhajari anfari. And Sa'd b. Wbnda b. Dulaym, a "leader";
al-Mundhir b. 'Amr, a "leader" and at both Badr and Uhud. He was killed at
Bi'r Macana, acting as a commander. It was he of whom it was said, "He was
manumitted only to die."
The two women were Umm Wmzra Nasiba, daughter of Ka'b b. 'Amr b. 'Awf
b. Mabdhtil b. 'Amr b. Ghanm b. M&in b. al-Najj, of Main and al-Najj*.
Ibn Iskq stated, "She, along with her sister and her husband Zayd b. 'Asi
b. Ka'b and her sons Habib and 'Abd Allah, was present with the Messenger of
God (SAAS) during the war. This son of hers, Habib, was killed by Musaylima,
"the liar", the latter asked him, 'Do you bear witness that Muhammad is the
Messenger of God?' 'Yes,' he replied. He asked, 'Do you bear witness that I am
the Messenger of God?' He replied, 'I do not hear!' At that he began cutting off
one member after the other from him until he died right there before him; he got
nothing more from him. Umm Wmsra was one of those who left for al-Yamba
with the Muslims when Musaylia was killed. When she came back she had 12
wounds caused by hits and cuts. God bless her.
The other woman was Umm Manic, Asma', daughter of 'Amr b. 'Adi b. Nshi b.
'Amr b. Sawwzd b. Ghanm b. Ka'b b. Salama. May God be pleased with them all.
