Hilal b. Umayya al-Wnqifi: he is included with those at Badr in both jahih
collections, in regard to the story of Ka'b b. Maik. But none of the authors of
the works on the military expeditions include him.
Hilal b. al-Mu'all% al-Khazraji, brother of mfi' b. al-Mu'allx.

Waqid b. 'Abd All& al-Tamimi, an ally of the Bann [Adi, an Emigrant; Wadi'a
b. 'Amr b. Jarad al-Juhani, mentioned by al-Waqidi and Ibn 'A'idh; Waraqa h.
Iyas b. 'Amr al-Khazraji, a brother of Rabi' b. Iyns; Wahb b. Sa'd b. Aba Sarh,
mentioned by Mas% b. Wqba, ibn 'A'idh and al-Waqidi among the Bann 'Amir
b. Lu'ayy. But Ibn Iskq did not mention him.
THE LETTER YJ'.
Yazid b. al-Akhnas b. Jannb b. Habib b. Jarra al-Sulami. Al-Suhayli stated that
he was present along with his father and his son, something unique among the
Companions. But Ibn Ishnq and most of the other authorities do not mention
them. They were, however, present with him at the bay'at al-ndwzq4 the
"Pledge of Ridwnn".
Yazid b. al-Hitrith b. Qays al-Khazraji. It was be who was called Ibn Fushum,
the latter being his mother. He was martyred at Badr that day; Yazid b. 'Amir b.
Hadida Abii al-Mundhir al-Sulami; Yazid b. al-Mundhir b. Sarh al-Sulami, he
being the brother of Ma'qil b. al-Mundhir.
- The Pledge of Ridwa, or the Tree, also mentioned in the Qur'a. It refen to the pledge
given by the Companions to the Prophet (SAAS) during the treaty of al-Hudaybiyya. See serat
al-Farh; XLVIII, 7.18.
