When I first came online I thought that having a
membership site was the best idea in the world. My
excitement slowly turned to dismay when I found out how
expensive it was to set one up. It also required a level of
technology I did not have, which meant that I would need a
webmaster to help me with it on a regular basis.
Considering I had no one who was ready to join a
membership site, I let the idea make its way to the back of
my mind.


That all changed in 2008, when Wishlist Member debuted.
Stu McLaren and Tracy Childers are in the Mastermind
group I am a part of with Armand Morin, so I was able to
see this revolutionary system unfold as they created it and
finally released it to the world.


In October of 2009 Wishlist celebrated its one year
anniversary. They held an affiliate contest and I was
determined to win. I introduced my list to the idea of
membership sites, and showed them examples of the sites I
had set up.


The result was that many people seemed unclear about
how they would utilize this marketing strategy for their
own business. When I began asking what was holding them
back it all came down to one thing: lack of content. I then
offered up my content to anyone who purchased a Wishlist
