Moses,inhisday,beheldawonderwhen"theangel
oftheLordappeareduntohiminaflameoffireout
ofthemidstofa bush: andhelooked,and, behold,
thebushburnedwithfire,andthebushwasnotcon-
sumed."
That was a marvelous thing. "The bush burned
withfire,andthebushwasnotconsumed." Thatwas
a stupendousmiracle. Butintheheavens above us
everyday,wesee thesamewonder,—awonderthat
istobeperpetuatedthroughout therollingcycles of
eternity. Thesun,withallitsblazeofheatandlight,
ever burns,to bathethe earthin its rays,and give
light and energytoall itscreatures. And it is not
consumed.
Nowonderthatmen,havinglostsightofGod,wor-
shipedthesun;butletuslookupandawayfromthe
central orbofoursolar system,to Him whois the
centeroftheuniverse,thesourceofallweareorever
hopetobe,andwhosetendermerciesareoverallHis
works.
