    social groups in shaping the personality, attitude,
    lifestyle and mentality of individuals;

  • Describe the meaning social interaction and
    social relationship;

  • Identify the basic symbolic interactionist
    perspective of social interaction in everyday life;

  • Define the concepts of social status and social
    roles; and understand the fact that individuals
    interact within the framework of status and role
    relationships;
