Monogrammed “A” l.r., inscribed “Scetch [sic] for a composition” on the

mount l.r., titled in the margin u.l.

Oil and graphite on Albemarle paper, sheet size 4 1/4 x 6 5/8 in. (10.8 x

16.8 cm), framed.

Condition: Tape hinged to backing mat.

Provenance: Estate of an arts benefactor, New York.
