One vase probably molded by Rehschuck
Hard-paste porcelain; polychrome enamel
decoration; gilding
Each vase painted under its base with the
blue AR monogram of Augustus the Strong,
Elector of Saxony; each incised with a cross
under the base; one vase with a simple
cross (probably the mark of the molder
Rehschuck), the other with a cross hatched
at each extension.
Height: 1 ft. 2 in. (35.5 cm); Diameter:
y^7 /s in. (20.1 cm)
