with communities for ALS, MS, Parkinson’s Disease,

HIV, and mood disorders such as depression and

bipolar disorder, progressive supranuclear palsy, mul-

tiple system atrophy, and Devic’s disease.

➟ If you find the behavior or comments of anyone you

meet in a health-related discussion online to be rude,

aggressive, or invasive, stop the communication and

report the person to the site immediately.

A site to check out if you’re dealing with cancer is

ChemoCoach (www.chemocoach.com), which cov-

ers several types of cancer in its discussion forums.
