  1. Click OK. Next, right-click the SQL Server Browser row and select Properties.

  2. Click the Service tab and set the Start Mode attribute to Automatic if needed, similar to
    step 5.

  3. If you had to set the start mode to Automatic, and the state of the Browser was stopped,
    start it manually by right-clicking the SQL Server Browser row and selecting Start (Figure
    18.6).

  1. You will get a progress bar (see Figure 18.7) as the SQL Server service is started.
