Variations
• Turn your arms so that the fingers are pointing
backwards. Rest your palms on the soles of
your feet. Slightly pull your lower abdomen
inwards and upwards and lift your chest
(Figure 7.63).
• Parvatāsana in Vīrāsana (see Parvatāsana in
Sukhāsana).
• Supta Vīrāsana (Figure 7.64). Use any amount
of support so that you are comfortable and
relaxed in the position.

Triag means three parts: the foot, the knee, and
