Reusing color and objects

To save time and maintain a uniform look in
your document, you can reuse colors and
objects.

You can sample color from anywhere in your
document and then copy that color to another
object.

The orange color is sampled from the graphic on the left
and applied to the graphic on the right.

To sample color, click the Color
eyedropper tool, and click the color. The
Color eyedropper tool automatically
switches to the Apply color mode. To
apply the color, point to an object, and
click.

When you use a color in your document, the
color is added to the Document palette,
which is docked at the bottom of the
application window when you start a new
document or open an existing document.
