Despite its origins in 1970s southern
California, the UK is really rather goodat BMX. At last year’s Tokyo Olympics,
22-year-old Bethany Shriever (below)won Team GB’s first gold medal for BMX
and last month the British rider KieranReilly landed the world’s first “triple
flair” stunt (where you rotate threetimes in mid-air and twist 180 degrees).
