MYTH
‘I need a night cream
for night-time’
“Myth! You can use the same moisturiser in
the morning and at night-time,” Dr Ifeoma Ejikeme
says. Dr Alexis Granite agrees, with one caveat: “If
you’re using the same moisturiser for morning and
night then make sure it doesn’t have SPF.”
THREE MOISTURISERS THAT CAN BE USED AM AND PM
The milk Elemis Sensitive Soothing Milk, £50
A delicate moisturiser designed for sensitive skin
and to reduce redness. As well as for everyday use,
it’s a gem straight after high-strength acids or peels.
The lotion CeraVe Facial Moisturising Lotion, £13
An oil-free lightweight cream packed with
hydrating, barrier-repairing ceramides that still
sits seamlessly under make-up. Our beauty director,
Sarah Jossel, swears by it for her blemish-prone skin.
The cream Estée Lauder Revitalizing Supreme+
Youth Power Creme Moisturizer, £74
Layer this rich but not oily antioxidant-packed cream
over your serum for a soft-to-touch skin finish.
