competitive against yourself or against everybody else?
A: Myself.
Q: For you it’s a matter of self-discovery and self-improvement.
You don’t care about anybody else and what the market is doing
and the fact that some other guy is making 10 million or losing
10 million today?
A: No, that doesn’t even enter my mind.
Q: Were you always interested in sports and had a competitive
nature?
A: Yes, and what I find interesting is I don’t enjoy playing racquet-
ball or basketball or golf just for the hell of it. I like the competitive
side of it, like a lot of men do.
Q: So it’s not the art of the game that interests you, it’s the
practical results?
A: Yes.
Q: Very interesting. These are questions we ask everybody for
the book and we’ll just ask them of you. So answer them with first
thing that comes to your mind.
A: Okay.
Q: What is your number one rule for trading?
A: Don’t be stubborn.
