(karela) (or a handful of spinach or
kale)
1 banana, peeled
2 tablespoons flax seeds
1 tablespoon chia seeds
4 almonds (preferably soaked overnight)
1 cup (237 mL) water, coconut water, or
juice
2 heaping cups (474 mL) ice
- Blend all the ingredients together until
smooth, preferably in a powerful
blender, such as a Vitamix. Serve
immediately and enjoy getting your fruit
and veggies in one shot! I do refrigerate
leftovers, but they tend to only keep for
