JUST DON’T GO TOGETHER

The last decade has been a real challenge for investors to navigate
through the retirement years. Problems with two recessions have made
it very difficult to maintain a stable portfolio while trying to provide a
steady income that will keep up with inflation. Please understand that
while I think some investment vehicles are better than others, I basi-
cally believe that all investments are good if used in the right situations.
Whenever someone is unhappy with an investment I usually find that
either they had the wrong expectations of how that investment was to
work or that they had used it in the wrong situation. Unlike some pun-
dits that say, for instance, that whole life insurance is bad, I find that if
used in the right circumstances it is the best choice. The key to finding
the right vehicle is to determine your goals and aspirations and find the
investment best suited to help you accomplish those goals. Anyone who
