The Brahmaputra system :
- Originates near Mansarovar lake in Tibet ,Know as Tsangpo
- Lake Creates a Deep Gorge by Cutting Through th Himalays Near the Namcha
Barwa. - Enters India as Dihang,
- Near Sadia It receives Lohit and Dibang.
It is there only in the State of Assam.
- Left Bank Tributaries: Dhansari,dibang,Lohit, Surma.
- Right Bank tributaries-Subanshri, Manas Teesta.
It enters Bangladesh near Dhubri.
Known as Jamuna in Bangladesh,
It joins the Padma which itself joins the Meghna.
Meghna Flows into the Bay of Bengal.
