Consequence of the Tyrants
Godhaspledgedofdestroyingthetyrantsandthedespotswhodisbe-
lievethe socialrightsandpeople’ssoulsanddignities.Invariousposi-
tions inthe holyQuran,Godexposesthe story of Pharaohwho tyran-
nized andbullied;consequently,Godfisted himstronglyandrevenge-
fully. God says:
Surely,Pharaohexaltedhimselfinthelandandmadeitspeopleinto
parties, weakening one party from amongthem. He slaughtered their
sonsandlettheirwomenlive.Surely,hewasoneofthemischief-makers.
Andwedesiredtobestowafavoruponthosewhoweredeemedweakin
theland,andtomakethemtheimams,andtomakethemtheheirs.And
tograntthempowerintheland,andtomakePharaohandHamanand
their hosts seefrom them what they feared.
Mortification andtormentwere the result ofPharaoh becauseof his
havingdeniedGod’seleganceandavertingthestraightpathinaddition
to tyranny and arrogance.
TheholyQuran hasalsocalledforconsideringthe mannersofthose
thatwrongedortrampled;therefore,Godtorturedthem,andnonecould
guard them against His punishment. God says:
Havetheynottraveledintheearthandseenhowwastheendofthose
who werebefore them?Mightierthantheseinthe land,butAllah des-
troyed them for their sins, and there was not for them and defender
against Allah.
Andcertainly,wediddestroygenerationsbeforeyouwhentheywere
unjust,andtheir apostleshadcometo themwith cleararguments, and
theywouldnotbelieve;thusdowerecompensetheguiltypeople.Then
wemadeyousuccessorsinthelandafterthemsothatwemayseehow
you act.
Godcursedthewrongdoersandpreparedforthemapainfultorment.
God says:
Nowsurelythe curseofAllah isonthe unjust,who turnawayfrom
thepathofAllahanddesiretomakeitcrooked.Andtheyaredisbeliev-
ersin the Hereafter.Theseshall notescape inthe earth, nor shallthey
haveanyguardiansbesidesAllah.Thepunishmentshallbedoubledfor
them. They could not bear to hear and they did notsee.
God has decreed to punish the wrongdoers all over history. When
God’sdisciplineandpunishmentinflictthewrongdoers,theireconomic
