The Educational System In Islam

Otherfacesonthatdayshallbe happy,well-pleasedbecauseoftheir
striving.Inaloftygardenwhereinyoushallnothearvaintalk.Thereinis
afountainflowing.Thereinare thronesraisedhigh.Anddrinking-cups
ready place,and cushions set in a row, and carpets spread out.
Onthrones decorated,recliningon them,facing one another.Round
aboutthemshallgoyouthsneveralteringinage.Withgobletsandewers
and a cup of pure drink. They shall not be affected with headache
thereby, nor shallthey get exhausted. Andfruits suchas they choose.
Andthe fleshof fowlsuchastheydesire.Andpurebeautifulones,the
like of the hidden pearls. A reward for what they used to do.
Surely,asforthosewhobelieveanddogooddeeds,theirplaceofenter-
tainmentshallbethegardensofparadise,abidingtherein.Theyshallnot
desire removal from them.
Suchanaboundingrewardwillreleasefromalloftheartsofirregularity
and deviation, and support with the great powers of virtue and
illumination.
Godhasalsodescribedthehorriblepunishmentthatwillbecastupon
the pursuers of their lusts and impulses. God says:
Theseare two adversarieswho disputeabout theirLord. Thenasto
those garmentsof fire; boilingwater shall bepoured over their heads.
Withitshall be melted what isin their bellies andtheirskins aswell.
Andforthemarewhipsof iron.Wheneverthey willdesiretogo forth
fromit,formgrief,heyshallbeturnedbackintoit,andtastethechastise-
ment of burning.
Lay hold on him, then put a chain on him. Then cast himinto the
burningfire.Thenthrusthimintoachainthelengthofwhichisseventy
cubits.Surely,hedidnotbelieveinAllahtheGreat.Nordidheurgethe
feedingofthepoor.Therefore,hehasnotheretodayatruefriend.Nor
any food except refuse, which none but the wrongdoerseat.
IsthisbetterasanentertainmentorthetreeofZaqqum?Surely,itisa
treethat grows in the bottomof the hell. Itsproduce isas it werethe
headsoftheserpents.Thenmostsurelytheyshalleatofitandfilltheir
bellies with it.
Thenmost surely they shall have after itto drink of amixture pre-
pared in boiling water.
TheQuran referstomanyhorrifying textsthatfillinthe mindswith
tensehazardandfearofGod’scastigation.Suchtextswillabsolutelyes-
tablishbarriersagainstdisobeyingGodandperpetratingevilandsinful
deeds.
