valuablelecturesthatrevealedthemostaccurateaffairsofthesesciences.
Healsodiscussedphysiology,bloodcirculationandthemicrobesthataf-
fect diseases. Moreover,he reviewedthe qualities of fruits,vegetables,
meat, and the like. These physical and medical discoveries have been
compiledinabooktitled‘Tibbul-Imamas-Sadiq’–MedicineofImamas-
Sadiq-. The Imam argued with the best physiciansof hisage anddis-
cussed the deepestand mostaccurate medical advances. Thosephysi-
cianssubmittedtohisknowledgeandconfessedofthequestionshehad
provided.Mostoftheseargumentationsarerecordedinthebooksdeal-
ingwiththelifeoftheImam.Wemayconsiderthatthebestofthesead-
vances are those recorded in the book titled ‘Amalil Imam as-Sadiq’
