self more than he loved obedi-

proud, even of their good deeds. - Jealousy and pride can blind a
person and prevent him from
seeing the truth. - Jealousy leads to the worst evil.
- Others must be judged by their
qualities and not by their looks. - Allah curses those who are
proud and disobedient.
