problems. Before the intro-
duction of MATLAB, engineers
wrote their own computer
programs to solve engineering
problems. Even though
engineers still write computer
codes to solve complex
problems, they take advantage
of built-in functions of the
software. MATLAB is also
versatile enough that you can
use it to write your own
programs.
