Chapter 35: Deploying Access Applications to SharePoint

So far, this deployment technique simply duplicates the process described in Chapter 33. The next

steps complete the deployment process and make the entire Access application available to all

authorized SharePoint users:

1. In SharePoint, open the Shared Documents document library, and click the Add new
   document link.

SharePoint opens the Upload Document dialog box, shown in Figure 35.10.

2. Browse to the Access database file and import it to SharePoint.


3. Open the Access database by double-clicking its entry in the Shared Documents list.

SharePoint opens the Open Document dialog box shown in Figure 35.11.

The Access application opens on the user’s desktop, ready for use.
