Predictably, the next Crosstab Wizard screen (see Figure 18.31) asks for the field to use as the col-
umn heading.

Next, you indicate the calculation you want the crosstab to perform on each cell in the crosstab’s
results (see Figure 18.32). In this case, the crosstab returns the retail prices of each product cate-
gory (cars, trucks, and so on) for each product model (Chevrolet, Ford, and so on). I want the
crosstab to calculate the average retail price of each field returned by the crosstab.

The last wizard screen (not shown) asks for the name of the new crosstab query. The results of this
query are shown in Figure 18.33.
