T Peaches and Cream


Peaches and cream aren’t just a topping for oatmeal; they make a delicious smoothie.
We make this smoothie extra creamy by adding yogurt.

Stage: Smooth foods
Preparation time: 5 minutes

Yield: 1 serving (1^1 ⁄ 4 cups)

(^1) ⁄ 4 cup nonfat milk
2 tablespoons nonfat dry powdered milk
(^1) ⁄ 2 cup canned no-sugar-added peaches,
drained
(^1) ⁄ 4 teaspoon vanilla extract
(^1) ⁄ 4 cup plain nonfat yogurt
(^1) ⁄ 4 cup ice
1 packet sugar substitute, or to taste
Stir the powdered milk into the nonfat milk and let stand for 2 to 3 minutes. Then place
all ingredients in a blender and blend well.

Preparation time: 5 minutes
Yield: 1 serving (1^1 ⁄ 4 cups)
(^1) ⁄ 2 cup orange juice
(^1) ⁄ 3 cup nonfat dry powdered milk
(^1) ⁄ 4 cup mandarin oranges
(^1) ⁄ 8 teaspoon lemon extract
(^1) ⁄ 3 cup ice
Stir the powdered milk into the orange juice and let stand for 2 to 3 minutes. Then place
all ingredients in a blender and blend well.
