T Chocolate-Covered Berries
Chocolate, raspberries, and strawberries make this easy and downright awesome
smoothie a home run. You can find sugar-free chocolate syrup with the other ice cream
toppings or flavored milk mixes at the grocery.
Stage: Smooth foods
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Yield: 1 serving (1^1 ⁄ 4 cups)
(^1) ⁄ 4 cup nonfat milk
2 tablespoons nonfat dry powdered milk
(^1) ⁄ 4 cup raspberries
(^1) ⁄ 4 cup sliced strawberries
1 tablespoon sugar-free chocolate syrup
(^1) ⁄ 4 cup plain nonfat yogurt
(^1) ⁄ 4 cup ice
1 packet sugar substitute, or to taste
Stir the powdered milk into the nonfat milk and let stand for 2 to 3 minutes. Then place
all ingredients in a blender and blend well.
