1a- Proper breathing, using theproper breathing technique.

4-RepetitionoftheDivineNameintheformofyourchosenhekau-mantra–Chanting-PositiveAf-
firmation (10 minutes in am and in pm),
5-Silentpractice(10-20minutesinAm,shouldbepracticedafterexercise,prayerandrepetitionof
the Divine Name),
6-Studyof the teachings (reading 15-30 minutes per day),
7-Silencetime (30 minutes per day),
8-Listeningtotheteachings:Chooseanaudiorecordingofayogicspiritualpreceptorandlistenfora
minimumof 30 minutesperdaywithoutanydistractionsifpossible.Ifpossible,gotoaspiritualcen-
ter(Temple,Ashram,Wat,)whereteachingsarepresentedbyaqualifiedteacherofmysticalwisdom.
If this is not possible, form a study group wherein the teachings may be discussed and explored.
9-Selflessservice(asrequiredwhenevertheopportunitypresentsitself)aswellasvolunteeringsome
timeinservicetothecommunity.Thisisaveryimportantpartofcleansingouttheimpuritiesofthe
heart.
10-Dailyreflection:Rememberingtheteachingsduringtheordinarycourseofthedayandapplying
them in daily living situations- to be practiced as much as possible.
