leadtoyourownmysticalrealizationinashortertimethanthroughanyothermethod.Theycannot
transformyouintoaspiritualpersonality;youmustdothatyourself.However,theycandirectyouon
thecorrectpathandpointoutyourmistakesifyouarewillingtolisten.Youneednotspecifically
searchforsomeonewhoisEnlightenedinyourownreligion.Youmaycontinuetofollowyourown
religionwhilestilllearningthesubtletyofspiritualdisciplineandYogascienceastheseapplytoall
religionsequally.Youshouldnotbecomedistractedbydifferentreligionsorteachers,rathersetyour
attention on the highest goal, Enlightenment, then all else will fall into place.

ceptorwillprovideforhisorherspiritualdevelopmentislikeapersonwhoexpectstobecomephys-
icallyfitbymerelygoingtoagymnasiumwithoutdoinganyexercise.Thepreceptorprovidesthe
mentalfoodintheformofthewisdomteachingsandthenitisuptoyoutotakethisfood,consumeit,
digest it, absorb it and allow it to become part of your being.
