Pobl and Machines – Why Not Associates

The company’s portfolio is still expanding into new areas.

The collaboration with artist Gordon Young helped Why

Not Associates to produce work that sits on the borderline

between sculptural art and communication design. Pobl

is the Welsh word for ‘people’. Pobl and machines is a

row of letter-shaped seats situated in front of the National

Waterfront Museum in Swansea, Wales. Each letter

represents an item that can be found inside the museum.
