confession. He committed suicide in his jail cell in 1987.

Milone was released on bail in 1994. Milone appealed the earlier denial

of a writ of habeas corpus.^16 The Court of Appeals, in Milone v. Camp, held

that the potential prejudice did not so greatly outweigh the probative value
