“MANNA FROM HEAVEN” BREAD
Simple yet satisfying
SERVES 2
2 eggs
2 pieces “Manna from Heaven” bread, toasted
Salt to taste
Pinch of cayenne
- Place the eggs in a saucepan, cover with cold water, bring to a boil,
and turn down to simmer for 3 minutes.
- Cool the eggs in cold water, and remove the shells.
- Top each piece of Manna bread with an egg. Cut the eggs on top of
the toast, so that the yolks seep into the bread.
- Sprinkle with salt and cayenne.

Leftover shrimp cut into^1 ⁄ 2 -inch pieces (see Garlic Shrimp, page 227)
(^1) ⁄ 2 cup julienned zucchini, left over from last night’s dinner
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
3 tablespoons avocado oil
(^1) ⁄ 4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
1 tablespoon chopped fresh Italian parsley
Salt to taste
Pinch of cayenne
