Walking towards the two victims, I
held their hands and led them to talk to the
others about their lives, their pregnancies,
and their fears; and as I allowed the lighted
beam to lift, the violent feelings had been
completely de-energized. Replaced by
sincere interest, caring and love, the
formerly hateful group emerged with a
sincere desire to help these women find
other options. I was gone.
