  1. Radius= 15.The angle formed by a radius and a tangent where it
    meets the circle is always a right angle. Use the Pythagorean
    theorem to find the length of the radius, DF: a^2 + 20^2 = 25^2.
    a^2 + 400 = 625. a^2 = 225. a= 15.

  2. Area= 150 in^3 .The length of EDis the height of ΔDEF. To find the
    area of ΔDEF, plug the measurements of the radius and the height
    into  21 bh: ^12 (15 in. ×20 in.) =  21 (300 in.^2 ) =150 square inches.

  3. DG andDHG. The minor arc is DG. Major arcs always need a
    third letter to distinguish them from the minor arc that has the
    same endpoints, so the major arc is DHG.
