BioPHYSICAL chemistry

(singke) #1
nucleotide is bound at a distant location containing two cysteine residues,
which that are oxidized as part of the enzymatic cycle, transiently forming
thiyl radicals. These radicals can be observed only when the intermediate
states are trapped.
