The three orthographic views of the assembly of a milling fixture (production drawing) are
shown in Fig. 17.8. The fixture is designed to cut a slot in a round rod of 15mm diameter at its
end as shown in the drawing. The slot is cut on a vertical milling machine with a slitting saw
cutter.
