owntime is critical for heat treaters, which is why we
specialize in rebuilding vacuum pumps and blowers
that can stand up to rugged use and last longer. We
recently had a pump sent back for a fresh rebuild after
23 years of service.Advantage: Remanufactured Vacuum Pumps
That Last Longer
When MHV rebuilds a pump, all internal wearing parts and
critical clearances are returned to OEM specifications or better.
We leak check, hot-test and certify performance with a dynamic
pump-down test for rotary-piston, vane, blowers and diffusion
pumps. In addition, Stokes® 412 pumps are dynamically
balanced for least horizontal “shake” on the drive end. They look
and run “like new.”Advantage: Vacuum Pumps That Can Take Harsh
Processing Environments
Acids and particles can kill a pump. MHV designed and built a
line of Survivor™ vacuum pumps that can include smart oil f il-tration to eliminate them. Their longer life means lower lifetime
costs. We can also retrof it them when rebuilding a pump.
MHV shipped a Survivor model HD300 vacuum pump for
a heat-treating furnace built by Ipsen going to a major heat
treater in the U.S. The customer chose MHV pumps for their
longer-life capabilities with positive-pressure oil filtration in
severe environments.Metallurgical High Vacuum
