studio.Pasteldustaccumulateson
everysurface,andthemorestuffyou
havesittingaround,themorestuff
youmustclean.Thatpasteldustcancauseproblems,especiallyif youdon’t
usea roomfiltrationsystemandclean
regularly.I’mcontinuallyamazedat
howmuchdustfloatsaround,even
whenI’mcarefulnottoblowonthe
pastel—andI useanairfilteronmy
tablerightnexttomyeasel.SolutiontoOrder
Enough!I thought.Thisisridiculous!
So,I askedmyhusbandtomeasure
thespacebelowthefoldingtablesso“Some of us have become accustomed to working in a messy space,

Poised (6x8)I could find a couple of small cabinets
in which to store my things. We
did some research and found a few
options we thought might work.
Then, the next day as I was prepar-
ing to paint, the light bulb came on.
Get rid of the tables altogether and
invest in another heavy-duty cabinet
like the one I had in my oil-painting
